The Met travel to the northern edge of the Surrey Hills, Whiteley Village, the home of Worth Old Boys. Worth are sitting one place above bottom team Old Cranleighans, with just two victories, against Purley John Fisher and Old Cranleighans. Like the Met, Worth conceded a walk-over to Amplefordians and narrowly lost to Chipstead. Although the clubs have not met since this weekend two years ago, the Met definitely have the upper hand, having won 7 of the previous 11 encounters.
Met recall Steve Routledge in place of co-captain Jack Doswell and Kallum Rees moves into the centre, enabling Cormac Healy to return at full-back. William Jarrett, down from Durham University for the Christmas Holidays, makes a welcome return on the blind-side.
A win this weekend will keep the Met in touch with the top four. Fourth placed Bec OB take on Chipstead which should drag one of the leading four back into Met’s sights.
