The Met visit The Counts, hoping to continue their undefeated record against the Old Walcountians. The Met recorded a single point victory the last time they travelled to Woodmansterne, although results at Imber Court have been more convincing. After three games this season, both Clubs sit on 7 points, with one victory and two defeats. Both have lost to League pace-setters Chipstead, and Counts suffered a shut-out when entertaining Bec Old Boys in their opening fixture of the season.
After a narrow but high-scoring defeat against Old Hamptonians, the Met welcome back several regulars: Broadhead returns in the front row, Garter returns to the second row and Ferguson has recovered from illness to add some feistiness on the flank. Jardine returns at outside centre while Elliot Lamble makes his debut alongside him. Struan Milligan will be hoping to make his first appearance from the bench.
Elsewhere, top of the table Old Haileyburians take on sixth place Bec Old Boys, while fourth place Old Amplefordians entertain third placed Purley John Fisher, both currently 4 points clear of the Met & Counts. Chipstead and Old Hamptonians can both anticipate away victories at Old Blues and Old Whitgiftians respectively.
