Following on from the Government's advice, as laid out by Boris Johnson on Friday afternoon, Imber Court has regretfully closed its doors to all social activity.
The Government's advice was particularly directed at "entertainment, hospitality and indoor leisure premises". Imber Court would include itself in all three of those categories. The slightly ironic fact is that the swimming pool, with its high level of chlorine, could be the safest place to be! Nevertheless, the other areas of the operation means that the Imber Court management had no alternative other than to close the indoor facilities.
The grounds remain available for walkers and other members seeking outdoor exercising space. Do remember to act responsibly with regard to social distancing whilst exercising, even outdoors.
