The RFU has released next season's fixture list and Met Police can look forward to the usual 22 rounds of fixtures.
Thamesians, an historically nomadic club but primarily based in Twickenham, is one of two new opponents on the roster. KCS Old Boys complete the list of 9 Old Boys' clubs in the division and will meet the Met on 24th October. Effingham & Leatherhead also find themselves in League Two next term but of course the Met have played them several times in the recent past.
The opening weekend sees the Met travel to Old Blues on 12th September. The following week, Thamesians cross the Thames to make their debut at Imber Court. The reverse fixture is on 19th December, the final game of the year, and one the Met habitually struggle to perform well in. January stages three fixtures, and the season ends on 10th April, with Old Blues rounding things off at Imber Court.
Based on the season just gone, it's a fairly open league. OH Exiles will be hopint that they can sustain last season's early form for the duration this time, but then the Met should be saying the exact same.
The Met's pre-saeson is scheduled to kick-off in July with training at either Imber Court or possibly more central, with Clapham Common as a popular option.
