NYC tour 2014

The Metropolitan Police Rugby Football Club is excited to announce that they will be touring New York City in June 2014.

On the 12th June 2014 we will compete in an historic fixture against the New York Police Department. This will be the first time that two of the world’s leaders in crime fighting will face off on the rugby pitch!

This will be followed on the 14th June 2014 by the Metropolitan Police’s first appearance in The Liberty Cup, a 12 team invitational tournament with many prestigious US institutions represented.

Whilst in New York City we plan to take part in local community rugby projects. We are working with USA Rugby to achieve this.

The Metropolitan Police Rugby Football Club is currently seeking sponsorship to assist with the financial and logistical requirements for the tour. Please contact our Tour Manager, Gavin Bolton, for more information.
