The Police entertain perennial rivals London Media at Imber Court this Saturday. The Police have started the League Season with two bonus point victories to put themselves at the top of the nascent League table. Conversely, Media had a narrow defeat against London Exiles on the opening Saturday and suffered a heavy reverse at Effingham & Leatherhead last week.
Over the last few years, the Met and Media have met 16 times in the Surrey Leagues. Honours are even in terms of victories although the Met have outscored their visitors by an average of 6 points in 50 - that's 28-22 for the Police Officers.
The Met have a large squad from which to pick with Will Ferguson making a welcome return to the starting XV. Try scoring phenomenon Richard Blears will be absent for the first time this season and Club Captain Cormac Healy remains on the sidelines. Huw Longden and Olly Newton expect to make their debuts. Fly half Sam Druce will be looking to maintain his high-scoring start to the season, having already contributed 27 of the team's 92 points thus far.
Kick-off is 3pm at Imber court
