Met Police take the short journey along the Thames to Walton this Saturday to take on Worth Old Boys in Surrey 3. Worth opened their campaign with victory in a high-scoring encounter at London Exiles scoring 8 tries and a bonus point in the 54-35 scoreline.
There have been nine previous Surrey League meetings involving the near neighbours*, with Met being up by 5 victories to four. However, Worth OBs are currently holding the upper-hand, not having lost a face-to-face encounter since the Met won 33-7 in November 2021. Worth finished third in League 3 last season, some distance behind the promoted sides.
The Met will be hoping to take an even stronger squad to this game than was available last weekend and will be anticipating a far sterner test.
The team will be announced later this week, following Wednesday's squad training.
